We offer artisan Australian Opals direct to the public at a reasonable price. We mostly stock opals from the Oldfield Family who are the original owners of Opal Field Gems Est. 1967. Sourced from the Queensland Opal Fields including Jundah, Winton and Yowah. Each stone is lovingly tended to expose its inner beauty. The stones then come straight to me, where they are offered directly to you. Our philosophy is simple. To offer the customer the best possible experience, attention to detail and honest, friendly service. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase we will endeavour to do our utmost best to make you happy.

My name is Vikki and I am a passionate opal collector. My obsession with opals began when I was ten years old and I saved enough money to buy my Mother an opal pendant. Over the years I never got sick of looking at them and after a while I began to experiment with opal cutting and cabbing. During this process I met a family that would absolutely change the course of my life. They are a family of artists and the original owners of Opal Field Gems. I mostly stock and sell opals from the Oldfield Family who are the original owners of Opal Field Gems. Our opals are of the highest quality and through this partnership I can offer you peace of mind that you are getting a top quality Australian opal, backed with decades of experience.
